Hightlights Of Vietnam 15 Days

Day 1: Hanoi arrival (D)

Arriving at Noi Bai airport, you will be met and driven to your hotel. You will have time to relax after your journey, and then enjoy a welcome dinner with Vietnamese traditional cuisine. Your overnight stay will be at your hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi city tour (B)

Today you have a full day to explore Vietnam’s charming capital. With its wide tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and ancient oriental pagodas; Hanoi is an eclectic mix that offers something for everyone. Your city tour will take you to Hanoi’s key sites: the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and stilt house), the Presidential Palace, the nearby One Pillar Pagoda; the Temple of Literature; West Lake including the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda & Quan Thanh Temple; and Ethnology Museum. Later in the afternoon, enjoy a traditional Water Puppet Performance – a unique Vietnamese art form hailing from Southeast Asia’s wet-rice culture.

Day 3: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (B, L, D)

AM: Be picked up at your hotel from 8:00am.for a 3.5 hour bus ride through the country side of the Red River Delta to Ha Long City. Upon arrival, board the Halong Phoenix Cruiser. A fresh seafood lunch (vegetable menu available) will be served while the boat is setting sail.

PM: Prepare for a fun kayaking experience in this area while absorbing the stunning vista of the serene bay. Experience a short tender ride from the middle of the bay to Ti Top island where you can relax on the beach or walk up to the top of the island for the panoramic view of the anchorage area. Return to the Halong Phoenix Cruiser, as the sun sets over the bay and relax on the sundeck with your favorite drink. Dinner is served with delicious local seafood.

Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L)

AM: Rise early and witness a breathtaking sunrise from the sundeck. Enjoy your buffet breakfast before visiting one of the most beautiful cave in Halong – Amazing Cave. Return to the boat and learn about the recipe and techniques that go into creating the most popular dish of the Vietnamese. Lunch will be served while cruising back to the harbor.

PM: Your bus is waiting at the harbor port to take you back to Hanoi for overnight.

Day 5: Hanoi – Hue – Half day city tour (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, relax until your driver comes at 8:45 am to take you to the airport for a morning flight to Hue. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel to check in. Lunch will be your choice. In the afternoon you have a half day guided city tour of Hue with its Imperial Citadel and Dong Ba market.

Day 6: Hue orientation – Danang – Hoi An (B,L)

Your morning will be spent cruising along the Perfume River to the Thien Mu Pagoda, and then by road to the Royal Tombs of Emperor Khai Dinh and the Imperial Citadel. After lunch you will travel to HoiAn via Danang. In Danang, enjoy China Beach and the Cham Museum before heading to Hoi An. Arrive in Hoi An ancient town and check into your hotel.

Day 7: Hoi An Town- A Charming Discovery (B)

Today you are on your own to relax on the beach or shop for some special items.

Day 8: Hoi An – Danang – Nha Trang (B)

After breakfast your time is your own until you are transferred to Danang Airport at 7.45 am. for a morning flight toDanang. On arrival a car will take you to the hotel overlooking the beautiful bay in Nha Trang.

Day 9 and 10: Nha Trang- relaxing and discovery (B)

The day will be free for strolling in the town. Laze on the beach or do whatever takes your fancy.

Day 11: Nha Trang – Ho Chi Minh (B)

You will be free in the morning until your car and driver arrive to take you to Cam Ranh Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. When you arrive, a private car will be waiting to take you to your hotel in the city centre. After checking in, you will be free for a preliminary wander around District 1.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City Tour (B)

Today you will enjoy a full day tour of Saigon’s diverse attractions. It starts with a visit to Saigon’s China Town, where you can learn about traditional Vietnamese medicine at the FITO Museum. Browse through the amazing array of goods at Ben Thanh Market. Stop for lunch and then continue on the city tour with a visit to the War Remnants Museum and former Presidential Palace. Your day concludes the exploring the city’s French colonial architecture, stopping at the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Post Office;

Day 13: Ho Chi Minh City – My Tho – Vinh Long (B,L,D)

After breakfast at your hotel, you have a 2 hour drive away from the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh, to My Tho. Here you will transfer to a small boat, beginning your tour around four beautiful Islets: Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise and Phoenix on the Tien River. Travel through Xep Canel to visit Mekong traditional houses made form coconut trees, at Quoi An village. Here you will see coconut collection sets and observe how the locals make handicrafts from the coconut tree trunk and shell. Enjoy sampling seasonal fruits and listening to traditional music. A horse drawn cart will take you along a village path and at Ben Truc orchard you will be able to taste the local honey with tea or wine. See the bees breeding in wooden boxes at the local farms. Lunch is served at a local restaurant before continuing the by car to Vinh Long.

Day 14: Cai Be floating market – Vinh Long – Ho Chi Minh (B, L)

You will have a relaxing morning and a homecooked breakfast. At 9:00 am, you are transferred to a local boat to enjoy Cai Be –the colorful floating market. Experience the daily life with a visit to a coconut candy workshop, tasting the little brown sweets. Visit local houses to learn the process of making rice cakes and pop rice. Lunch is at a local restaurant. You are then transferred to by car to Ho Chi Minh City ending your tour at 5:30 pm.

Day 14: Ho Chi Minh departure (B)

After breakfast you can relax until your car comes to transfer you to the airport for your homebound flight.
