The contract with us.

The contract will consist of an agreed itinerary and your acknowledgement of acceptance of these booking conditions. This contract becomes binding at the point at which you issue instructions to us to go ahead with making reservations for the agreed itinerary and pay the deposit according to the terms of the payment.

By entering this site you accept these terms and conditions. The terms and conditions are subject to change at any time and it is your responsibility to check these terms and conditions regularly in case there are any changes. If you continue to use this site after a change has been made, this is your acceptance of those changes.

Liability.

South Pacific Travel (SPT) acts only in the capacity of an agent for its travelers in making arrangements for transportation, hotels and other services that are incidental to the travel that is being purchased. As agent for the travelers, South Pacific Travel does not assume any liability whatever for any injury, damage, death, loss, accident or delay due to any act by any carrier, hotel, restaurant, company or person rendering any of the services included in the tour.

SPT accepts no responsibility for any damage or delay due to machinery breakdown, quarantine, weather or causes beyond its control.

SPT accepts no responsibility for any omission, delay, retouring, additional expenses or other events resulting from improper health certificates or necessary documents to enter or depart a country or acts of any government authority.

SPT operates on a “tailor made” basis. You can request alterations to any aspect of your holiday without surcharges. We will advise you of the cost or saving resulting from proposed alterations and if it is acceptable to you to incorporate this into the price.

Acceptance of booking.

SPT reserves the right to decline your booking without explanation if we have cause to believe that you might pose athreat to public safety or security in Vietnam.

SPT reserves the right to adjust the itinerary or to substitute hotels or to cancel a tour prior to departure without prior notice for refund. SPT will not take responsibility for any loss due to group dynamics, weather, governmental or police action, enjoyment, traffic jam or other conditions. Should SPT cancel a tour as a result of any of these reasons a refund will be made to the customer for all services that are not delivered.

SPT requires you to take out travel insurance and any other necessary insurances adequate to meet your needs and will assume that you will have done so before your arrival in Vietnam.

Deposit & Payment.

A minimum deposit of 30% of the landcost and full payment for flight tickets as final confirmed program (plus a bank commission fee if paying by credit card) is required to confirm your reservations. Travel documents will be compiled after the deposit has been received and are sent via email and should be printed out by participants and retained as a receipt

We can accept either in cash or online credit cards. Please note that all online credit card transactions in Vietnam are subject to a 4 % surcharge. In case your card has run through our card reader terminal in Vietnam 3% surcharge will be applied (4% with AMEX & JCB).

Full and final payment of the tour price must be made before 15 days departure of the tour. In the event of the full payment not reaching our account by the due date we reserve the right to cancel all bookings and the contract between us.

Cancellation.

Cancellation by customers

All cancellations must be in writing, received by us via fax or email.

Greater from 30 to 16 days prior to departure, customers will be charged 30 % of full amount plus any bank fees and any charge occurs to us from our service providers.
Greater 15 days prior to departure you will lose your full amount

There will be no refund given for any unused or missed ground arrangements, sightseeing, meals or hotel accommodations. For no show you will lose your money

Cancellation by us

In the unlikely event that such circumstances should arise we will contact you immediately and offer you the choice of an alternative of equivalent quality or a full refund of all monies paid. No additional compensation will be paid over and above the total sum received from you.

We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us for any reason regarding to your late payment of the full price before your departure date and you will not receive any refund of advanced deposit.

Children Policy

Applied for Halong Phoenix Cruiser

  • Baby Cot will be applied upon request and will be charged extra cost of US$ 15.
  • Children under 4 years will be free of charge (Maximum 1 child)
  • Children from 4 to under 9 years old (Maximum 1 child)
  • Sharing bed with parents will be charged 50% the adult tour price
  • Sharing room with adult will be charged 70% the adult tour price
  • From 9 and above will be charged as an adult
  • Two children under 9 year sharing a private cabin are charged at 75% of full cabin rate

Applied for package tour except options above

  • Children under 4 years will be free of charge (except flight tickets, train tickets and breakfasts in the required hotels)
  • Children from 4 to under 9 years old sharing room will be charged 70% of the adult tour price
  • From 9 and above will be charged as adult.

Insurance

Travel insurance and medical precautions are essential. Your travel insurance must provide cover against personal accident, medical expenses, emergency repatriation and personal liability. We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance at the time of booking.

Medical precautions

You should ensure that you are fully up to date with vaccinations required for Vietnam.

If your itinerary means you may be involved in strenuous activities such as cycling or trekking you shouldcheck with your medical practitioner if you are in any doubts about your fitness to do so.

If you are allergic or have any other disabilities or health problem relevant to your holiday you shouldinform us well in advance.

Documentation

A passport is required valid for 6 months beyond your tour departure date. A visa is required for Vietnam except Scandinavian countries including Finland, Denmark, Sweden and ASEAN countries including Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Laos.
